- Analytical and highly creative mindset
- Experience creating conversion copy for large-scale campaigns at a fast-growth startup
- Varied portfolio of copy (short form to long form)
- Ability to write with range
- Proven experience shaping brand guidelines and tone of voice
- Familiarity with the publishing industry and writing craft concepts
- Experience with email marketing, conversion optimization and A/B testing
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and other analytics tools
- Native-level English speaker
Responsibilities
- Develop a consistent tone of voice for Reedsy across multiple channels
- Own and evolve our brand guidelines
- Help onboard writers to ensure consistency across every channel
- Write copy for our landing pages, lead magnets, email campaigns, newsletters and social media posts
- Come up with new creative ideas to convert our traffic
- Review copy performance (open rates, click-through, conversions) and use those learnings to sharpen future work
- Work closely with a team of content creators on ad and modal copy, graphic assets, storyboards and video scripts
- Bring a high standard to your own copy and honest, useful feedback to everyone else's
