Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- 3+ years of experience dedicated to the ServiceNow platform.
- Proven experience in the federal contracting space (DoD, DHS, or Civilian agencies).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least one other major workflow (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, ITAM, etc.).
- Strong experience with Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in Visio, LucidChart, or similar process mapping tools.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
Responsibilities
- Lead client workshops and focus groups to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis between legacy processes and ServiceNow OOTB functionality.
- Collaborate with the Agile Coach to design and document new Agile processes and SOPs.
- Review user stories for accuracy and readiness for sprint planning.
- Mentor junior developers and analysts on business context and ServiceNow best practices.
- Conduct peer reviews of functional designs and test scripts.
- Develop process maps, workflows, and data models.
- Advise government stakeholders on ServiceNow best practices to minimize technical debt.
- Ensure solution designs adhere to federal IT standards such as Section 508 and FISMA/NIST.
