Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience focused on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Demonstrable background supporting federal contracting environments (DoD, DHS, or civilian).
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • Deep familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM and at least one other module (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, ITAM).
  • Proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, LucidChart).

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate client-facing workshops and discovery sessions.
  • Convert mission-level needs into detailed user stories and functional specifications.
  • Perform gap assessments comparing legacy workflows to ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Partner with Agile Coach to develop delivery processes and SOPs.
  • Manage backlog quality and ensure adherence to Definition of Ready.
  • Mentor junior analysts and developers on federal domain and platform best practices.
  • Conduct peer reviews of functional designs and test scripts.
  • Build process maps, workflow diagrams, and data models.
  • Counsel government clients on platform best practices.
  • Own UAT planning and execution.
