Requirements
- Models running in production and integrated into a live product.
- Proven track record of building and managing high-quality datasets.
- Expert knowledge of Python and relevant libraries.
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
- Experience accelerating work with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar).
- Product driven mindset with a focus on incremental delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and curate comprehensive datasets tailored to train and fine-tune sensitive data detection models.
- Develop new detection models from definition through to building, validating, and shipping production-ready models.
- Drive continuous improvement of the existing model suite using performance dashboards and direct customer feedback.
- Prioritise model retunes to sharpen detection accuracy.
- Stay abreast of the latest data science trends and techniques.
- Collaborate with engineers and security teams on data needs and integration.
