Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience in software engineering or related fields.
- At least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role overseeing technical teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience building/managing scalable systems in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP).
- Experience with containerization (ECS/EKS) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CDK).
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and React.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions with incomplete data.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, career development, and performance feedback.
- Oversee the development of user-facing experiences and robust backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product, design, and program management teams to align technical execution with strategic roadmaps.
- Manage team work across technology stack including Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP, TypeScript, React, and Prefect.
- Facilitate agile development processes such as stand-ups, retrospectives, and one-on-ones.
- Handle resource allocation, project prioritization, hiring, and onboarding.
