Requirements
- 3+ years managing or leading teams of engineers.
- Hands-on experience building applied AI/ML systems.
- Proven coaching mindset with experience mentoring Senior and Staff-level engineers.
- Sound technical judgment to navigate complex trade-offs.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Experience working effectively across distributed teams.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and integration practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence by building frameworks for high-quality delivery.
- Guide technical execution, spot risks, and partner with Tech Leads on strategy.
- Coach and grow engineers through actionable feedback and project scoping.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and rapid learning.
- Lead with context and collaboration across Product, UX, and leadership teams.
- Nurture a high-performing, distributed team across Canada and Sweden time zones.
- Drive thoughtful AI-assisted development practices and assess tool value.
