Requirements

  • Fluent German (spoken and written) — this is mandatory.
  • Strong English proficiency for internal communication.
  • Proven experience in a Presales, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting role.
  • Solid technical background in software, SaaS, or enterprise IT environments.
  • Comfortable explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working directly with customers in meetings, workshops, or demos.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Sales while maintaining technical credibility and independence.
  • Based in Europe and comfortable working in a remote or hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales and Partner Managers during the onboarding phase with technical expertise.
  • Lead and deliver technical product demonstrations, architecture overviews, and proof-of-concept discussions.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand technical requirements, constraints, and success criteria.
  • Translate customer requirements into clear technical proposals and solution designs.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise and public-sector customers.
  • Answer technical questions related to deployment, integration, security, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Support to relay customer feedback and feasibility considerations.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, SDK, and reusable presales assets.
  • Support RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with technical input (especially in German).
