- Broad technical credibility to guide code reviews, debugging, and integrations
- Hands-on mindset for PR reviews and unblocking technical issues
- Experience with open source or developer communities
- Fluent in GitHub and collaborative software development workflows
- Systems thinking for identifying and solving bottlenecks
- Experience in fast-moving, high-growth, or startup environments
- Strong familiarity with n8n at an advanced level
- English language proficiency
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Community Engineering team
- Coach and support a team of 3 Community Engineers
- Bring clarity, focus, and accountability to a team with broad scope
- Hire, onboard, and define performance standards for the team
- Build and refine processes and tooling for external contributors
- Improve contributor workflows via automation and documentation
- Oversee review of community pull requests and node submissions
- Maintain quality and consistency for community-led engineering
- Partner with product teams to surface contributor pain points
