Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience in API-based platforms and enterprise integrations.
  • 5+ years of engineering management experience, including leadership of senior or principal-level engineers.
  • Strong proficiency in Golang and building scalable backend services.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and React.
  • Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technologies, and digital asset ecosystems.
  • Experience with wallet security, key management, and transaction processing.
  • Proven experience integrating with financial services, exchanges, or fintech platforms.
  • Expertise in designing distributed systems for high transaction volumes.
  • Strong knowledge of fintech compliance, custody, data privacy, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated success in defining technical strategy and architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers responsible for building and enhancing payment and digital asset infrastructure products.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to define priorities and ensure successful roadmap execution.
  • Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy for highly available, scalable, and secure API-driven platforms.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of integrations with external financial institutions and technology partners.
  • Guide technical planning, system design, and implementation efforts.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to advance platform capabilities and align technology investments.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop engineering talent including performance management.
  • Promote engineering best practices, including software quality standards, testing, security, and observability.
  • Maintain hands-on involvement through code reviews and technical contributions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and compliance.
