Requirements

  • Proven experience in email deliverability, anti-abuse systems, mail operations, or high-scale messaging infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of IP and domain reputation, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, bounce handling, complaints, suppressions, and warmup strategies
  • Experience diagnosing deliverability issues across major mailbox providers and interpreting delivery signals
  • Ability to design metrics, dashboards, policies, and systems from loosely defined deliverability challenges
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Postmaster Tools, Microsoft SNDS/JMRP, feedback loops, and blocklist monitoring
  • Experience working with engineering, support, and customer-facing teams in cross-functional environments
  • Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a high level of ownership and autonomy

Responsibilities

  • Design and improve systems for email deliverability, including IP reputation, domain reputation, authentication, and bounce classification
  • Build and maintain frameworks for monitoring sending behavior, including dashboards, metrics, and alerting systems
  • Develop and optimize IP warmup strategies, shared and dedicated IP pools, and traffic segmentation logic
  • Investigate and resolve deliverability issues such as spam-foldering, blocklisting, deferrals, and provider-specific delivery failures
  • Collaborate with engineering and Trust & Safety teams to prevent abuse and enforce sending policies
  • Convert ambiguous deliverability signals into structured systems, runbooks, and automated enforcement mechanisms
  • Support incident response for critical delivery disruptions and ensure system resilience and observability
