Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise storage engineering with a strong focus on object storage (e.g., S3, HCP, unstructured data platforms).
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML infrastructure, data lakes, or high-performance computing environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with virtualization and container platforms such as VMware, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Strong proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, JavaScript, Ansible, Terraform, and Shell.
- Deep understanding of object storage protocols, metadata systems, and AI data architectures.
- Proven experience designing and delivering AI or data infrastructure proof-of-concepts in enterprise environments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging technical and executive audiences.
- Experience in technical evangelism, public speaking, or customer-facing solution demonstrations.
- Creative proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Blender is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of AI and object storage proof-of-concepts (PoCs) using platforms such as Hitachi iQ, VSP One Object, and HCP.
- Architect and implement scalable data lake solutions supporting AI/ML workflows, including S3-compatible storage, metadata enrichment, and RAG-based pipelines.
- Build and maintain advanced demo environments showcasing high-performance object storage, hybrid cloud integration, and multi-tenant architectures.
- Deploy and configure storage and AI infrastructure using tools such as Ansible and Terraform for automation and repeatability.
- Develop data pipelines and integration scripts using Python, JavaScript, and Shell to support automated data movement and AI workflows.
- Integrate object storage solutions with containerized and cloud ecosystems (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware) to support GPU-accelerated workloads.
- Serve as a technical evangelist, presenting solutions to customers, executives, and industry audiences at conferences and briefings.
- Create high-quality visual and multimedia content (3D models, diagrams, videos) to support technical storytelling and solution adoption.
