Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in event planning, conference operations, registration management, or communications/marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, hospitality, public relations, event management, or equivalent.
- Proven experience executing communications campaigns for events.
- Hands-on experience with event registration platforms such as Cvent, Swoogo, Whova, or Eventbrite.
- Strong experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder conferences in client-facing environments.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with tools like Teams, Slack, Jira, or SharePoint.
- Ability to work independently across cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to support onsite event execution (<10% travel).
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated communications and marketing strategies supporting large-scale conference programs.
- Develop and manage event communications across email campaigns, websites, social media, and attendee outreach materials.
- Oversee attendee and speaker registration lifecycle, including platform configuration and reporting.
- Manage attendee engagement strategies to increase participation and satisfaction.
- Coordinate onsite registration operations, including staff training and workflow execution.
- Collaborate with internal creative and production teams to deliver branding and event collateral.
- Track engagement metrics, registration trends, and attendee feedback.
- Manage vendor coordination, timelines, and operational documentation.
- Support budget tracking, invoice processing, and post-event financial reconciliation.
