Requirements
- Active book of business with current revenue
- Proven experience in freight brokerage
- Book of business generating approximately $20K+ monthly gross profit (preferred)
- Strong client relationships with portable business
- Ability to bring and transition customers to a new brokerage
- Demonstrated track record of revenue generation
- High level of autonomy and entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to operate in a commission-only environment
- No restrictive non-compete agreements impacting client portability
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing book of business
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and clients
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Coordinate and oversee freight movement from pickup to delivery
- Negotiate rates with carriers and customers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
- Track shipments and resolve operational issues as needed
- Collaborate with internal operations team or manage full cycle independently
