Requirements
- Experience operating a cloud data platform at scale
- Expertise in event ingestion, streaming, and distributed systems
- Experience designing infrastructure for AI/ML in production
- Fluent in production reliability practices
- Proven experience leading engineers
- Experience with Kafka, Spark, and Snowflake
- Strong communication and trade-off assessment skills
Responsibilities
- Mature the foundations of our Snowflake-based platform
- Design and ship the infrastructure for real-time and near-real-time feature serving
- Set the platform engineering standards: SLAs, monitoring, incident practices, cost discipline
- Partner with the Analytics team to draw clean ownership boundaries
- Grow the team from two to roughly four engineers
- Run the day-to-day: planning, RFCs, incident response, technical mentorship
