Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in QA engineering with a strong emphasis on test automation.
- Hands-on experience building or significantly scaling automation frameworks from scratch.
- Experienced in automating API testing (REST/SOAP), web applications, and backend/data validation workflows.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.
- Familiar with Azure DevOps or similar defect tracking and test management tools.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365 (preferred).
- Understand testing practices for scalable systems, including regression, smoke, and performance-aware testing.
- Comfortable working independently and owning end-to-end quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the QA automation strategy, building a roadmap to significantly reduce reliance on manual testing.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for APIs, web applications, and backend business logic.
- Develop robust automated test suites covering regression, smoke, and critical business workflows, including financial and accounting logic.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous validation across build and release cycles.
- Prioritize automation coverage based on risk, business impact, and system criticality.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define quality gates and ensure testability is embedded early in development.
- Manage defect tracking, validation, and reporting using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Support compliance requirements (SOC 1 / SOC 2) by maintaining testing evidence and documentation.
- Establish quality engineering practices that scale with the growth of the product ecosystem.
