Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive leadership and managerial experience within public safety, emergency communications, or PSAP operations.
- Experience serving at the Deputy Director level or above (or equivalent).
- Deep expertise across PSAP operations, NG911, CAD, emergency communications workflows, and public safety technology trends.
- Proven ability to build relationships with PSAP leaders, industry associations (NENA/APCO), and executive stakeholders.
- Strategic leadership experience driving scalable programs and operational improvements in complex environments.
- Ability to translate market insights into actionable product and go-to-market strategies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and consultative sales support skills.
- Collaborative, data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs and measuring success.
Responsibilities
- Lead Axon 911’s public safety strategy and strengthen industry partnerships (NENA/APCO).
- Mentor the Public Safety team and drive KPIs, scalability, innovation, and long-term growth.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to align solutions with customer needs.
- Gather customer feedback to influence product enhancements and prioritize AI-related initiatives.
- Support market expansion through industry expertise, speaking engagements, workshops, and webinars.
- Optimize workflows and processes to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and product adoption.
