Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit revenue leadership.
- At least 3+ years of experience managing teams or leading multi-market fundraising operations.
- Proven success achieving revenue targets in complex, multi-channel fundraising environments.
- Strong experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and fundraising platforms like TeamRaiser.
- Ability to analyze performance data, manage forecasting, and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working in large-scale nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities in multi-stakeholder environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute multi-state fundraising strategies across community fundraising, corporate partnerships, and individual giving programs.
- Oversee achievement of annual revenue targets, including approximately $10M in fundraising performance.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of 15–20 development professionals across the Midwest region.
- Drive pipeline development and donor lifecycle management, including acquisition, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Collaborate with major gifts, corporate, and planned giving teams to ensure integrated fundraising strategies.
- Lead peer-to-peer and community fundraising initiatives, ensuring consistent execution of best practices and toolkits.
- Utilize CRM systems and analytics tools to monitor performance, forecasting, and fundraising outcomes.
- Partner with internal teams including Finance, Marketing, Care Services, and Advocacy to align mission and revenue goals.
- Support and engage executive volunteer leadership and fundraising committees across markets.
- Promote inclusive leadership practices, ensuring equity, accessibility, and strong community engagement.
