Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or core accounting experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Experience with multi-entity or multi-property financial management.
  • Strong organizational and self-direction skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and professional home office infrastructure.
  • Formal accounting degree or professional registration preferred.
  • Experience in commercial real estate or self-storage sector preferred.
  • Experience working with US-based corporate entities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial books across multiple commercial corporate structures and property entities.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable.
  • Compile financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for CPA review.
  • Administer portfolio debt schedules, loan trackers, and amortization tables.
  • Monitor lender compliance requirements and maintain digital asset files.
  • Track property-level performance indicators such as occupancy and NOI.
  • Assist in building annual operating budgets and executing variance analyses.
