Responsibilities
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist in pre-visit organization and paperwork
- Verify patient insurance coverage
- Obtain pre-authorizations for procedures
- Liaise with insurance providers to clarify coverage
- Track and follow up on pending claims and denials
- Resolve billing discrepancies
- Coordinate with in-house teams to ensure scheduling and billing accuracy
