Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–6+ years of accounting experience.
- Exposure to nonprofit / fund accounting.
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Familiarity with fund accounting concepts (restricted vs. unrestricted funds, grants, donor reporting).
- Experience with accounting systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting operations for nonprofit clients.
- Perform month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Assist with fund accounting, tracking restricted/unrestricted funds, and grant reporting.
- Prepare and review financial reports for stakeholders.
- Support year-end audit preparation.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices.
- Review work of junior staff and provide feedback.
- Manage timelines and deliverables across engagements.
