Requirements
- Mortgage operations experience
- Hands-on experience with a loan origination system (Encompass, Empower, Byte, etc.)
- QA or software testing experience
- Comfort with light test automation (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium)
- Genuine attention to detail
- Clear written communication
- Comfort with structured data and developer tools (JSON, API responses, dev tools)
- Process-oriented thinking
- Curiosity about AI and mortgage workflows
- Prior team lead, training, or SOP-writing experience
Responsibilities
- Test our UIs and workflows end-to-end
- Find the bugs before customers do
- Write clear, reproducible bug reports
- Build and own the regression test suite
- Own release readiness
- Partner directly with Engineering and Product
- Define the playbook
- Hire, train, and lead the QA team
