Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience in developer tools or infrastructure.
- Experience managing product managers, ideally at the director level.
- Technical background sufficient to follow architecture and design discussions.
- Direct experience shipping in the Postgres, database, or developer-infrastructure space.
- Familiarity with open-source go-to-market strategies.
- Ability to work effectively in an asynchronous environment.
- Proficiency using AI tools to streamline product management tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to balance product perfection with shipping speed.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop the Core PM team including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Set the product strategy across Core and manage cross-product dependencies.
- Defend product agenda with founders and engineering leads.
- Make high-level cross-product prioritization decisions.
- Coach PMs on customer evidence, problem definition, and prioritization.
- Represent the Core division in leadership, board, and customer escalation meetings.
- Translate engineering reality into strategic narratives for the company.
