Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of payroll implementation projects for assigned countries or regions, ensuring timely and successful delivery through to go-live and handover to operations.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for local payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and implementation best practices.
  • Manage client onboarding processes, including participation in sales calls, handover meetings, and implementation kick-offs.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and implementation frameworks.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure alignment on payroll requirements, decisions, and deliverables.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all implementation decisions, processes, and SOPs to support payroll operations post go-live.
  • Support testing, validation, and parallel payroll runs to ensure system accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability across payroll implementations.
  • Provide ongoing support during and after implementation to resolve issues and ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations.
  • Mentor and support payroll generalists and contribute to capability building within the wider implementation team.
