Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Systems, or related field
- 8+ years of IT project delivery experience
- At least 3 years of experience in project management or business analysis in federal environments
- Experience working with AI tools in software modernization or digital transformation initiatives
- Strong background in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and functional documentation
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders and driving consensus across cross-functional teams
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile/hybrid methodologies
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools
Responsibilities
- Lead client-facing engagement, managing communication, expectations, and stakeholder alignment
- Drive project planning, execution, scope management, and delivery governance in Agile or hybrid environments
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and define functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Act as functional expert on AI-enabled tools, advising on capabilities, limitations, and solution feasibility
- Collaborate with technical teams, architects, and QA to ensure alignment between design and business needs
- Review and contribute to functional artifacts including process flows, documentation, and system design inputs
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and mission outcomes
- Support testing cycles, UAT execution, training, deployment planning, and transition-to-operations activities
- Ensure all deliverables comply with federal standards, governance, and quality requirements
- Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities across delivery streams
