Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and debugging production code
- Proven track record of root cause analysis
- Ability to identify patterns and propose systemic fixes
- Comfortable with customer-facing communication during escalations
- Understanding of performance at scale including N+1 queries and indexing
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog or Honeycomb
- Knowledge of RSpec and testing practices
- Familiarity with clear commit and pull request processes
Responsibilities
- Own L3 escalations end-to-end from diagnosis to shipped fix
- Work in Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL to resolve issues at the source
- Analyze support load patterns to ship product changes that eliminate recurring issues
- Partner with Support, TAMs, and Solutions Architects on technical diagnostics
- Lead engineering incident response for deep investigations
- Improve customer onboarding and migration experiences
- Manage customer escalations from intake to delivery
- Contribute to architectural discussions on platform reliability
- Review and provide feedback on GitHub pull requests
