Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Solid experience in at least one programming language (Java, Go, or Python).
- Strong expertise with Terraform.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes.
- Significant cloud experience, preferably with AWS.
- Proven experience maintaining critical data infrastructure for a large user base.
- Direct experience with Kafka and/or data processing engines such as Flink or Spark.
- Knowledge of observability stacks like Grafana, Prometheus, or Honeycomb.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale the streaming infrastructure using technologies like Kafka, Spark, Flink, and Snowflake.
- Ensure reliability and security of the infrastructure leveraging Kubernetes (k8s) and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC).
- Contribute to the architecture and establish best practices for the Data Platform.
- Collaborate with data producers and consumers across the organization to create efficient data pipelines.
