Requirements
- Strong experience managing on-premises Linux-based server infrastructure at scale
- Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible
- Strong experience with Proxmox and/or VMware
- Experience with Kubernetes and distributed systems
- Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Deep proficiency in Linux systems
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (QEMU, KVM, LXC, Docker)
- Experience with secrets management processes and tooling (HashiCorp Vault)
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Experience with networking and routing
Responsibilities
- Drive infrastructure automation for configuration management of 2,000+ VMs and 600+ on-premises servers
- Ensure consistency across distributed Equinix regions
- Collaborate with global teams on security, networking, and platform standards
- Implement GitOps practices for deployments and drift management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and product stakeholders
- Work with technical project managers and product management teams to define and plan projects
- Participate in on-call shifts
