Requirements
- 6+ years hands-on AWS in production (VPC, IAM, EC2/ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, Route53, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS)
- Experience with production Terraform and multi-environment state management
- Production experience with Kubernetes and Docker, specifically EKS
- Strong CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or ArgoCD)
- Strong infrastructure security knowledge: IAM least privilege, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, MFA enforcement
- Experience setting up observability from scratch (CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or ELK)
- Solid backend competency in Java (Spring Boot), Python, or Node
- Understanding of JVM, concurrency, and async systems
- Self-directed and disciplined documentation habits
- B2/C1 Level English
Responsibilities
- Own 5 AWS accounts across the organisation
- Architect and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Stand up CI/CD pipelines and implement blue/green and canary deployments
- Run releases reliably and reduce key-person risk
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and incident response including SLIs and SLOs
- Lead incident response and blameless post-mortems
- Patch and harden the platform including IAM and secrets management
- Lead infrastructure capacity planning for TV launch traffic spikes
- Partner with backend engineers to resolve production application-tier issues
- Architect multi-region DR and drive self-healing capabilities
