Senior Platform Engineer

Own five AWS accounts across the organisation.
Architect and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform, replacing remaining click-ops.
Build CI/CD pipelines, using blue-green and canary deployments where appropriate.
Run releases reliably and reduce key-person risk in the deployment process.
Set up monitoring, alerting, and incident response; define SLIs and SLOs for user journeys.
Lead infrastructure incident response and run blameless post-mortems.
Patch and harden the platform, including IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and MFA enforcement.
Lead infrastructure work for the TV launch, including autoscaling, capacity planning, and runbooks.
Partner with backend engineers on production issues involving the application tier.
Architect multi-region disaster recovery and drive the platform toward self-healing.
Optimise costs across DynamoDB, Lambda, and the wider AWS footprint.
Set architectural guardrails with tech leads and software engineers, and mentor engineers.

Engineering at OneDome

Engineers at OneDome build high-throughput digital infrastructure for the mortgage and property space. You will own and architect AWS accounts, replacing manual processes with Terraform-managed infrastructure as code. Expect to build robust CI/CD pipelines and implement SRE discipline for observability and incident response. This role involves tackling challenges like managing traffic spikes from TV launches and optimizing cost across a complex AWS footprint. You will lead the charge in defining architectural guardrails and mentoring others.
