Requirements

  • Experience supporting litigation attorneys and active cases.
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures.
  • Experience drafting discovery and court-related documents.
  • Familiarity with Filevine or similar case management software.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with California civil litigation procedures.
  • Familiarity with e-filing systems and court reservation systems.

Responsibilities

  • Draft responses to written discovery (interrogatories, production, admission).
  • Draft propounded discovery.
  • Prepare Judicial Council and local court forms.
  • Summarize medical records and prepare medical chronologies.
  • Perform Bates stamping, document production, and privilege log organization.
  • Organize deposition exhibits for hearings.
  • Draft subpoenas and manage records requests.
  • Maintain Filevine activity logs and case files.
  • Coordinate attorney calendars and court dates.
  • E-file Notices of Settlement and Requests for Dismissal.
