Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or applied AI research roles.
- Strong hands-on experience training and evaluating ML models, including large language models.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, Kubeflow, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of NLP, computer vision, and/or reinforcement learning techniques.
- Ability to balance rapid prototyping with production-grade engineering rigor.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, experimental environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, train, evaluate, and iterate on machine learning models across applied AI and research initiatives.
- Conduct rapid experimentation to validate hypotheses and improve model performance through data-driven insights.
- Build scalable ML pipelines covering data ingestion, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to translate cutting-edge AI research into production-ready systems.
- Optimize models using techniques such as hyperparameter tuning, fine-tuning, and architecture experimentation.
- Maintain rigorous experimentation practices, including documentation, result tracking, and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with advancements in machine learning and identify opportunities to apply emerging techniques.
- Contribute to system reliability and availability, including on-call or production support during critical deployments.
