Experience managing and mentoring globally distributed software engineering teams
Strong technical background in web application and API development
Experience with Ruby on Rails and Python-based services
Proven ability to translate ambiguous product requirements into technical deliverables
Experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade public APIs
Understanding of API reliability, versioning, scalability, and developer experience
Ability to engage in architecture discussions and code reviews
Experience working in fast-paced SaaS environments
Strong communication skills for async-first and remote environments
Ability to lead engineering culture and scale teams
Experience with AI-driven systems and agentic workflows
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional leadership

Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of 4–7 software engineers
Define team structure, norms, and engineering culture
Own the execution roadmap and delivery planning
Partner closely with Product to align engineering efforts with business goals
Oversee development of customer-facing applications, APIs, and AI-enabled interfaces
Contribute to system architecture and provide technical guidance
Drive the evolution of a production-grade public API strategy
Support development of AI-native systems and agentic applications
Improve engineering processes and delivery efficiency
Ensure high-quality technical execution through code review and best practices
