Requirements
- Experience managing globally-distributed software engineers.
- Proven ability in mentoring and coaching team members.
- Strong technical background in web and API development.
- Proficiency with Ruby on Rails and Python.
- Experience designing and shipping production APIs for external consumers.
- Ability to stay technical enough to perform architecture reviews.
- Experience translating ambiguous product goals into engineering deliverables.
- Experience working in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Excellence in clear written communication for async teams.
Responsibilities
- Grow and lead a team of 4-7 direct reports.
- Establish team norms and an async-first working culture.
- Drive clarity on priorities, processes, and cross-functional handoffs.
- Own the team’s execution roadmap, scoping and sequencing work.
- Partner with Product to align team priorities with overall initiatives.
- Help shape and ship the MCP server to production.
- Drive public API strategy with a focus on reliability and developer experience.
- Support delivery for web applications and agentic apps.
