Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in real estate operations, asset management support, finance, or analytical roles within multifamily or Active Adult housing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret budgets, financial statements, and operational performance metrics.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience building reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate data into clear business insights.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and data streams simultaneously.
- Experience supporting senior leaders in a matrixed or client-facing environment with strong professional judgment.
- Familiarity with Active Adult or age-targeted housing operations and real estate portfolio management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary analytical partner to the Director of Operations, supporting performance management across an Active Adult owned asset portfolio.
- Compile, analyze, and interpret operational and financial data including occupancy, rent trends, NOI, expenses, turnover, and capital performance.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting packages, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership and ownership stakeholders.
- Identify performance gaps, risks, and trends, providing actionable insights and recommended follow-up actions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with ownership objectives.
- Assist in translating complex financial and operational data into clear, client-ready narratives and decision-support materials.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs from accounting, operations, marketing, and revenue management to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Maintain tracking systems for initiatives, action items, risks, and operational follow-ups to ensure accountability and execution discipline.
