Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience reviewing, assessing, and curing mortgage collateral documents.
  • Prior experience in client services support or mortgage operations environments strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of mortgage-related documentation, reporting processes, and loan servicing operations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy and document review capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to compose professional client correspondence independently.
  • Ability to conduct independent research, solve escalated issues, and make informed task-level decisions.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated collaboration, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours or overtime when required to meet client timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver accurate trade reporting and client-facing documentation according to established schedules and service level agreements.
  • Review trade-level reports to ensure projects and loan-related tasks are progressing efficiently and accurately.
  • Coordinate with internal operational, reconciliation, and chain teams to resolve issues related to assigned client portfolios.
  • Research, evaluate, and resolve loan-level discrepancies, escalations, and reporting inconsistencies.
  • Validate collateral documentation, chain of assignments, Allonges, and related mortgage records for completeness and compliance.
  • Manage urgent or one-off requests involving document creation, retrieval, recording, or cancellation while maintaining clear communication with clients.
  • Retrieve and upload mortgage document images into internal systems while coordinating timelines and tracking task completion.
  • Perform quality control reviews of workflows and support ongoing monitoring and escalation of deadlines and deliverables.
