Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or commercial leadership.
  • At least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director/VP level or equivalent).
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through new market entry, partnerships, or product commercialization.
  • Deep experience in healthcare, digital health, or health plans/employers ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of payer dynamics, benefits strategy, and value-based care models.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing, structuring, and closing complex partnerships or enterprise deals.
  • Experience leading cross-functional strategy across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Ability to influence without authority and align senior stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Executive presence and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead comprehensive market entry and expansion strategies across regions, channels, and customer segments.
  • Analyze trends, customer behavior, competitive dynamics, and regulatory environments to inform strategic direction.
  • Identify white space opportunities and translate insights into actionable strategic plans.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of business development efforts, from lead generation to deal close.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to align business development strategies with objectives.
  • Support the creation of business cases and value propositions for new markets and solutions.
  • Lead the Commercial Strategy function, including Business Development, Actuary, and Solution Architects.
  • Partner with senior leadership to set growth targets and prioritize strategic initiatives.
