Requirements

  • 3-7+ years of project management experience, preferably in an MSP, MSSP, cybersecurity, IT services, professional services, or technology environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Experience building or improving project management processes, workflows, templates, or operational standards.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, resource coordination, risk management, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and execute process improvements from concept through implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to balance client-facing responsibilities with internal process improvement initiatives.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on accountability, follow-through, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a project lead for internal and client-facing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on client onboarding and service implementation.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications from kickoff through completion.
  • Act as a client-facing point of contact during onboarding and project delivery, ensuring clients understand expectations, timelines, responsibilities, and next steps.
  • Build, refine, and maintain project templates within our project management platform to support repeatable delivery across common project types.
  • Improve project management workflows, documentation standards, intake processes, and project governance practices.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current project delivery processes and design practical, scalable solutions to address them.
  • Develop and improve processes for resourcing, forecasting, workload visibility, and capacity planning across project teams.
  • Partner with technical and operational leaders to align project schedules with team availability, skill sets, priorities, and business needs.
  • Track project health, risks, blockers, budget considerations, and resource constraints, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Create clear reporting and visibility for leadership around project status, upcoming demand, team capacity, and delivery risks.
