Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent; B.A./B.S. in biologic sciences, economics, business, engineering, or biostatistics.
  • 7+ years of relevant consultative sales experience.
  • 7+ years of business development experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to open new accounts and grow relationships with existing ones in Pharma/Life Sciences.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and close large complex deals.
  • Oncology experience.
  • Ability to organize and lead multi-stakeholder client meetings including C-Suite.
  • Comfortable discussing clinical data and research concepts with biopharma customers.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce), Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Grow sales of Ontada Research Data Products and Services to life science partners.
  • Develop and execute account plans and strategy for engaging accounts across the product lifecycle.
  • Support strategic approach to long term partnerships with biopharma customers.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise on Ontada’s portfolio of offerings.
  • Perform consultative selling to solve customer business issues.
  • Collaborate with oncology and specialty business teams to drive new sales opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead to contract.
