Requirements
- 4+ years of UX design experience and a portfolio that shows your thinking.
- Experience in enterprise SaaS, workflow-heavy, or data-dense environments is a bonus.
- Strong visual craft in functional software.
- Experience leading design on a product area.
- Comfortable working in a triad with product and engineering.
- Ability to influence without authority and negotiate.
- Experience mentoring junior designers.
- Ability to use data (usage patterns, analytics, customer feedback) to inform decisions.
- Proficiency in Figma and other design and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of interaction design and information architecture.
Responsibilities
- Lead design across your SpryCIS squads alongside a Staff Designer, helping build a shared design practice in a product area that's ready for it.
- Collaborate with your product and engineering partners in a triad.
- Translate complex workflows and product requirements into experiences that feel clear and obvious.
- Bring visual craft to CIS using typography, hierarchy, and considered use of space.
- Run user research and usability testing.
- Produce wireframes, user flows, and prototypes.
- Engage in design critiques and push back when something isn't right.
