- Experience managing junior staff.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback in a high-pressure environment.
- Solid understanding of studio workflows.
- Ability to work on a morning-of production cycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily editorial meeting and own the 'Master Rundown.'
- Oversee the writing of all show scripts, intros, and teases.
- Act as the 'Line Producer' during the live broadcast.
- Supervise Associate Producers, Production Assistants, and Editors.
- Take 'ownership' of complex feature segments and coordinate with the newsroom.
- Review all video assets and graphics prior to air.
- Lead the post-mortem meeting to analyze show performance.
