Requirements
- Deep professional experience writing production services at scale.
- Strong distributed systems fundamentals (replication, consistency, partitioning, fault tolerance).
- Demonstrated experience designing and operating systems for large-scale, multi-tenant environments.
- Professional experience building/consuming gRPC/protobuf APIs.
- Strong database skills (PostgreSQL and/or MySQL) including schema design and query optimization.
- Experience with large-scale CI/CD systems and build tooling.
- Comfort working with Kubernetes and containerized deployment environments.
- Experience with observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, structured logging, distributed tracing).
- Familiarity with dependency injection patterns.
Responsibilities
- Architecting and implementing distributed backend services in Go.
- Designing APIs and service contracts for enterprise operators.
- Driving scalability and reliability improvements for high-availability environments.
- Hiring and developing engineers for the team.
- Participating in weekday and weekend on-call rotations.
- Collaborating with Product, UX, and frontend engineering teams.
- Engaging directly with large enterprise customers and cloud service providers.
