Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BSEE strongly preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Transmission & Distribution substation engineering.
- Experience as an Electrical Project Engineer in substation applications.
- Proficiency in primary (outdoor) substation design and required studies.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%, including international travel.
- Strong knowledge of HV/MV equipment and design aspects.
- Familiarity with IEEE, ANSI, NEC, and NESC standards.
- Experience in project execution (EPC or EEP).
- Strong problem-solving and multi-project management capabilities.
- Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit is desired.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technical aspects of substations and balance of plant for large HV projects.
- Manage project engineering activities including schedule development, design safety, and design reviews.
- Prepare and deliver concept and detail designs including physical arrangements and electrical drawings.
- Produce technical specifications and data sheets for major HV equipment.
- Manage project Bill of Materials (BOM) and Master Document List (MDL).
- Act as the single point of contact for technical issues for the customer and project manager.
- Support proposals and tenders including estimating man hours.
- Respond to site RFI and conduct field inspections.
