Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, national accounts, business development, or channel/retail distribution roles.
  • Proven experience selling into major retail accounts or large-scale retail networks.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a track record of acquiring new business.
  • Experience in consumer products, wholesale distribution, CPG, electronics, or telecom.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage complex accounts and deliver revenue and margin growth.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational and pipeline management skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely with travel requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow national and regional retail accounts across Canada and the U.S.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with retailers, carriers, dealers, and distribution partners.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline focused on new account acquisition and SKU expansion.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with retail partners ensuring profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal product, pricing, inventory, and operations teams.
  • Drive promotional strategies and assortment planning.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with vendor and retail partners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
