Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a clinical discipline or PsyD / PhD in clinical or counseling psychology
  • Active, unrestricted clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent)
  • 4+ years of post-licensure direct clinical experience in full-time practice
  • Expertise in safety risk assessment and management (suicidality, self-harm, crisis intervention)
  • Experience in clinical quality assurance, auditing, or evaluation of care standards
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments such as CBT, DBT, ACT, IPT, or EFT
  • Ability to apply clinical judgment in structured and unstructured scenarios
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate across clinical, product, and technical teams
  • Experience applying generative AI or LLMs in healthcare (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical safety and quality monitoring of AI-driven mental health tools
  • Perform clinical escalation procedures to support client safety
  • Participate in structured testing of AI systems to validate clinical accuracy
  • Develop and curate clinical scenarios reflecting real-world experiences
  • Define and write gold standard clinical responses for AI model outputs
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for clinical quality and evidence-based adherence
  • Identify gaps and risks in AI-driven clinical interactions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and clinical teams
  • Refine clinical frameworks for AI model training
  • Support quality assurance for digital mental health interventions
