Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in project or program delivery, including significant experience in federal consulting or government contracting environments
  • Active PMP certification with extensive tenure and deep expertise in project management principles and execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, public health, health informatics, computer science, or information systems
  • Proven experience leading large-scale federal programs with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and outcomes
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate high-performing, cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to make high-impact decisions and take ownership of delivery outcomes
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing delivery organizations and scaling PMO or governance functions
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Agile, SAFe, CMMI, or CMMC
  • Experience with federal healthcare programs (e.g., CMS, CDC)
  • Advanced degree and P&L management experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership across multiple federal and commercial project delivery portfolios, ensuring consistent execution, governance, and performance excellence
  • Establish and scale standardized delivery frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to ensure operational consistency and efficiency
  • Oversee portfolio health, including financial performance, staffing capacity, delivery risks, and operational KPIs
  • Lead operational readiness for new contract awards, onboarding, and transition planning activities
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and business development teams to align delivery capacity with strategic priorities
  • Drive workforce planning initiatives to ensure long-term staffing strategies align with organizational growth objectives
  • Lead, coach, and develop project delivery teams, fostering engagement, accountability, and professional growth
  • Implement and continuously improve project management and delivery processes to enhance scalability and efficiency
  • Support P&L oversight for the delivery division and contribute to budget-informed decision-making
  • Guide organizational initiatives related to process maturity, governance frameworks, and operational excellence
