Requirements
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing full-stack or data engineers.
- Experience in high-growth scaleup environments.
- Proficiency with React/Typescript, Python/FastAPI, and PostgresDB.
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
- Experience with cloud environments (GCP, Cloud Run, Grafana, k8s).
- Understanding of data reliability, observability, and pipeline operations.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Enable data engineers to ship high-quality data platforms and pipelines.
- Grow teams by attracting great talent.
- Foster an inclusive and caring culture.
- Provide regular 1:1 coaching and feedback.
- Partner with product managers and ML engineers on domain strategy.
- Ensure data architecture and pipeline quality.
- Work with leadership to improve data engineering practices.
