Requirements
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of technical experience with Android application development.
- Familiarity with Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java.
- Prior experience with ATAK plugin development or deep familiarity with the TAK ecosystem.
- Strong integration design skills (API contracts, data synchronization patterns).
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and move fast.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and field deployment of custom ATAK (Android Team Awareness Kit) plugins.
- Architect and develop performant Android applications and services for tactical end-user devices.
- Define data contracts, API boundaries, and synchronization patterns for the broader TAK ecosystem.
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve integration and data-flow issues in live operational environments.
