Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with focus on Java backend web applications.
- Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role.
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with web technologies HTML, Javascript, and CSS.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in design patterns, object-oriented programming, and clean code practices.
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Provide clear direction, guidance, and mentorship to a team of software engineers.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging knowledge sharing.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to define and prioritize user stories.
- Serve as the Agile advocate and coach for the team.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Work with the Customer Success team to support clients and manage incidents.
- Plan, prioritize, and allocate tasks to team members.
- Provide technical expertise for architecture decisions and code reviews.
- Ensure team adherence to coding standards and best practices.
