Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Sustainability, or Engineering.
- 3+ years of energy market experience in procurement, utilities, or consulting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PowerBI.
- Expertise in North American energy power or natural gas markets.
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and validate key customer metrics across multiple data management systems.
- Resolve data integrity issues with processing and payables partners.
- Structure and lead data analysis for reporting on costs, consumption, and savings.
- Perform invoice audits and create rate models for in-depth analysis.
- Evaluate utility rate schedules and tariff feasibility.
- Manage daily/monthly natural gas nominations, confirmations, and imbalance tracking.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers regarding physical energy positions.
