Requirements
- 8-10+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of NodeJS and TypeScript.
- Experience with Docker.
- Understanding of React, NestJS, Kubernetes, or Swift (preferred).
- Leadership experience in SaaS and Cloud platforms.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time, data-driven applications.
- Strong grasp of architecture and decision-making.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 security issues and mitigation.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with GCP or AWS environments.
- Ability to use AI development tools in engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on development within the team using NodeJS, TypeScript, React, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with technical leads and architecture teams to ensure consistency.
- Participate in Sprint planning, retrospectives, and standups.
- Provide accurate estimates and manage technical issues to completion.
- Line-manage 4-6 engineers, including coaching, mentoring, and development planning.
- Champion design-first practices such as TDD, BDD, and DDD.
- Participate in the on-call rota (at least 1 week every 6 weeks).
- Embed AI coding tools into engineering processes.
